CCP Gains Canadian UL Certification |
 Cal Conduit Products® is pleased to announce it has received approvals on conduit & electrical fittings by Underwriters Laboratories of Canada. All merchandise produced by the company will be identified with labels appropriate to the Canadian market effective immediately.
"This was an important next step for our expansion into the Canadian marketplace," said company President Dan Markus. "Now, both our premium product lines, Calbrite® stainless steel corrosion resistant conduit, fittings and accessories, and our galvanized steel line sold under the Cal Conduit Products® brand will be more frequently specified and accepted in the Canadian market.
"As a U.S. manufacturer and distributor selling into the electrical wholesale channel, it was becoming difficult for us to hire sales representatives and to enter into ongoing relationships in Canada without UL Canada certification. Now, we can increase our efforts and grow our relationships without restrictions."
This was the third announced upgrade of listings for Cal Conduit Products® this year. In July CCP added "NEMA 4X" approval to several Calbrite© products. CCP also expanded UL testing and added UL certifications, for newly added products in its steel and stainless steel product lines. |
