Cal Pipe Security Bollards has acquired Perimeter Defense Technologies (PDT of Arlington, Texas, makers of retractable and fixed security bollards. PDT has models that have passed the Department of State certification process as K12. The line is being assimilated into Cal Pipe's current security bollard product line.
Cal Pipe has become a major vendor of a broad line of protective bollards from simple post bollards to advanced removable, retractable, and special function bollards for pedestrian safety and vehicle traffic control "The addition of the PDT bollard models to our already broad line of security bollards is that not only do we extend across the security horizon for safety and security bollards, we have now deepened our line to include fully militarized bollards, tested and certified for the highest security," commented Rob Reiter, National Sales Manager for Cal Pipe Security Bollards.
