Calconduit, a division of Calpipe Industries, is a leader in the electrical conduit and fittings industry.
The Calconduit TM heritage dates back to 1917 with the founding of Jackson-Markus Supply by Peter Markus, the grandfather of Dan Markus, president of Calpipe Industries, the parent company of Calconduit. Jackson-Markus Supply manufactured and distributed flow control products, plumbing fittings and construction materials. In the early 1960s, the family expanded into stainless steel and nickel alloy weldwelding fittings, servicing a rapidly-growing market in refining, petrochemical, food processing, breweries, marine and other industries.

Recognizing the similarities between the plumbing, PVF and electrical industries, Dan Markus founded Calpipe Industries in 1986 to focus on the electrical industry. Today, Calpipe manufactures and distributes electrical conduit and fittings under the brand names of Calconduit and Calbrite. The company expanded into security bollards, marketed through Calpipe Security Bollards, in 1996.
Headquartered in Downey, CA, and focused on serving West Coast distributors, Calconduit is a leader in rigid steel, galvanized and PVC-coated electrical conduit and fittings, manufactured to strict guidelines set forth by UL, A.N.S.I. and NEMA. Our Downey manufacturing facility has the capability to produce ARRA-compliant and domestically manufactured products to support government-funded projects and other specialized conduit bending needs. Our unparalleled production capabilities, rapid turn-around time, and bending expertise make our company a true problem solver, accommodating those "unscheduled" changes to conduit runs that are impossible to produce using field equipment.
